Tools for Teaching
In collaboration with Harvard University Information Technology (HUIT), HDS IT and Media Services (ITMS) is here to help you enhance your teaching. The main tools used in our courses are Canvas, Panopto, and Zoom. Please see the Instructional Technologies and Audio-Visual and Multimedia Services consultation pages for more information on how we can work with you.
Teaching with technology is not just about software. The type of classroom activity – lectures, discussions, seminars – require similar but somewhat different approaches, and different ways to gauge student progress toward learning. At HDS we strive to combine the best aspects of fully remote learning with the best of in-person learning.
